The Sound of the Hand Moving Across Paper | A Dialogue about Visual Narratives with artist Dhwani Shah (Youtube video link)
Had a truly rewarding session yesterday - the first episode in the series ‘aranya: conversations about creation’. It is an artist’s dream to discuss art, form, tradition, craft and the nature of creative identitity, and of creation itself with another artist. It was a joy to have this conversation with Dhwani Shah, a visual artist. Our conversation meandered over many things and she shares with the audience some of her work - her zine on Kashmir, sketchbooks and other illustration work.
This conversation was the perfect beginning to this series that seeks to illuminate the lifeworlds and work of creators.
Do stay tuned for the next one. I will update you with details about the event here itself. Also, do write in with any feedback, comments, or thoughts that came to you while watching the video maybe.

P.S. If you watch it till the end, there’s poetry there for you :)
